Blessed Kala

Starting sunrise tomorrow is the most mournful day of Kala, the day the Daughter undergoes Her trials. Beloved is She who suffers in our name, who loves us to the very ends of the world to ensure our existence and return to our Mother.

After Kala comes Hiatus, the Day That is Not A Day, the day that hangs in between the old and new year. It may feel like She is gone from us, but She is always with us, and will be for every hour of every day until we are together in full. If you begin to feel like She truly is gone from you, remember Her words, and Her promises:

You that are weary with the world, you that are lonely, you that have suffered hardship, that have suffered hurt, come, gather about Me and be you enfolded in My mantle.
In the inner silence you shall hear Me, and in the inner darkness shall you see Me.
And the future shall be better than the past.

Have a Blessed Kala and Solemn Hiatus. Blessings upon you.

Blessed Nativity!

“When the first night had come upon the world, the Mistress of All Things stood alone once more, as She had in the beginning. For a terrible abyss had opened to lie between the world and She, and Her creatures could not look upon Her brightness.”

Mythos 1:1-2 (ECE)

She could not bear this abyss between us, and begat Her Daughter so that we may find communion with her once more. Blessed is She, Blessed is Her Daughter, and Blessed are We as we receive Her at this most dark time of this most dark year.

Blessed Nativity. Keep Her in your heart.

Happy Rosary Month!

Yesterday began Vois, also known as the month of the rosary. This month, endeavor to say a rosary every day if you can, or perhaps make a dedication to say the rosary once a day, one a week, etc. As our Madrian foremothers said, completing the rosary is not just a thing said and a thing done, but a thing created–a beautiful garland of roses we offer to Our Mother.

May She bless you and keep you,

–Lady Lea Rose
